Now, you may be thinking - Melly, your Fanfiction is already up on Archive of Our Own! Why do you need to post it here?

Because the Archive of Our Own servers are in the US.

I trust the people who manage the Archive, I don't trust the government that regulates everything within its borders. Censorship is always a worry, and I'd rather have a backup.

Ellipsus gave me that backup. Now that they have created a Reader mode, I can post links to my work on my own web page, secure that a) it won't get deleted or censored by a foreign government and b) I can prevent bots from copying the text. Unfortunately, that means copy-paste for comments won't be possible, and I can't prevent screenshots, but I'm fine with that. It's an anti-bot measure, that's all.

Anyway, enough of that. Once I start posting here I'll announce in my socials, but for now, this is just a placeholder. A letter of intent.
